According to our civil code, both the employee and the employer have an obligation to act in accordance with the principle of good employment practices. This principle covers, inter alia, the equal compensation of employees for the same kind of work (obligation of the employer) or the obligation of the employee to accept the reasonable request by an employer to perform different work which is appropriate due to the e.g. abolishment of certain positions within a company.

Building on the success of the inaugural women’s day held in 2015, in which 38 of the 41 member associations within the Confederation united to create a significant opportunity for girls and women to play the game, this year’s one-day event will provide an even stronger platform to raise awareness for women’s growing participation in soccer.
